Leaving a legacy

Leaving a Legacy – A Gift to the Future

Once you’ve made provision for your loved ones why not consider making a lasting gift to the School that supported you through some of your formative years?

Devonport High School For Boys has been faithfully serving families in the Plymouth and District Area since 1896, and, with your support, we can become even more effective at developing and inspiring our students during their time with us.

Your gift will be used to support projects and works which will have a lasting impact on the school and its environment, e.g. the refurbishment of a science laboratory, the upgrading of our book stock, general improvements to the aesthetic and infrastructure of the school.  In short, investment that will support and advance the studies of our current and future students.

You can be assured that a gift from your estate will not be used for any day to day running expenses; the public funds we receive from Central Government are dedicated to that purpose.

So, please consider a gift that will help us to maintain and improve the outstanding offer that is DHSB.  There is only so much we can do from public funds.  With your help we can achieve so much more!

After you’ve made your will

Keep it somewhere safe! Make sure your executors know where it is. We recommend that you review your will every 5 years and whenever your circumstances change.  This could be the birth of a new grandchild, the death of a beneficiary or a change in your financial situation.
